Larry has been leading business turnarounds at food companies for more than 25 years. He has successfully led six food companies through challenging transitions including: US Foodservice (CEO), Ahold USA: Stop & Shop/Giant/Peapod supermarkets (COO, board member and EVP-Royal Ahold), Nutrasweet (CEO), Specialty Foods (CEO), Stella Foods (CEO) and Kraft's frozen meals division (President).
In addition to his role as a Managing Director of Capwell Partners, Larry is a senior advisor for New Mountain Capital. He also serves on the boards of IRi, Diversified Foodservice Supply where he is Chairman, ABB Optical Group and Strategic Partners. In addition, he is a trustee of the International Crane Foundation. He has a BA from Brown University, an MBA from Columbia University and a Masters of Public Health from Loyola University Chicago.
